Outreach, Service, & Teaching
NoCTURN Network
NoCTURN, or the Non-Clinical Tomography Users Research Network, is an NSF funded RCN aiming to improve CT data handling in light of modern FAIR standards and open science. I have been a member of Nocturn since the first in-person meeting in Austin, Texas in 2023. I have been particularly active within the Education and Outreach Community, where I have contributed to educational kits designed to incorporate CT data in K-12 education (currently findable on QUBES Hub).

Anatomy Education
As part of my doctoral training, I have extensive experience taking and teaching anatomy at a medical school level. I have served as a teaching assistant for the M1 Anatomy course at the University of Missouri School of Medicine, and have taken a year-long lecture practicum aimed at the M1 level. I also have experience as a TA for the undergraduate vertebrate comparative anatomy course at Cornell University (BIOEE 2740).

Public Outreach and Education
Over the course of my academic career, I have made public science outreach a priority. This includes local events in Columbia for people of all age groups, such as the Columbia Young Scientists Expo and PaleoPints at Logboat Brewery. As a member of the Cornell Herpetological Society, I have experience in outreach events aimed at K-12 students, undergraudate students, and adult community members.
